Dear Friends of Laughs. Campfire Collective and The Standard are serving up a sweet sweet gathering of very funny people next Saturday Oct 22 from 8 til late at The Standard, the arts music rumpus room above Kinselas, Surry Hills. Back in the day it hosted the likes of The Beasty Boys, INXS and the Lemonheads. Since it’s reopening last month it’s hosted Neil Finn’s Pajama Club, Custard and now this.
You will see Michael Workman with his Award Winning show Humans Are Beautiful. There’s Michael Hing, Genevieve Fricker and then the super excellent Suitcase Royale play a band set, pumping the dance floor until late. It’s all smashed together in one big night of music, comedy, philosophy, drinks, dancing and all out fun times in a great venue.
Did we mention it’s only $17. No, we forgot to mention that.
Sat Oct 22, 7:30pm, The Standard
