If you need a laugh riot, switch your television to the Test Pattern and head down to Surry Hills Library as the best comedy writers from behind the scenes of Australian TV take their comedic best from page to stage for one night only. Featuring Daniel Moore (Rove, The Glass House), Jen Wong (Good News Week) and Michael Chamberlin. Daniel is a contributor to Frankie, J Mag and The Age. Jen Wong has stood up at Belvoir, and at Melbourne Comedy Festival as part of the 2011 Comedy Zone for the country’s best emerging talents. Michael’s writing highlights include being a core writer for ‘skitHOUSE’ but also a contributing writer for ‘Rove’ for five years until its conclusion in 2009.  He also spent a season working on Network TEN’s ‘Before The Game’.  In 2011, he could be found hanging out in the writers room for ABC TV’s Adam Hills In Gordon Street Tonight. This will be funny.

While industrial printing presses whirl worldwide, the wunderkind of Sydney’s independent printing world descend on Late Night Library to show & tell about their lives of indie DIY hand made printing – hand carved wood block letters, ancient printing machines and guillotines, and how a politician’s throwaway printer has revolutionized Sydney printing! Featuring Blood and Thunder publishing concern, New Planes Public Press and their Mobile Book and Record Cart, and more. Plus leaping off the pages, live music and readings from the contributors to some of Sydney’s hottest zines and publications.

We are very sad to announce that Blood and Thunder publishing concern are now unable to make it. That’s the price you pay for being amazing! They have too many projects going down.

New guests include Pip Smith publisher of  Penguin Plays Rough’s new book,  prolific zinester Vanessa Berry, editor of New Planes Public Press Lisa Lerkenfeldt, handmade fabric zine maker Fayroze Lutter and tunes from Ex-Trendy as heard on FBi.

* UPDATE* The Mobile Book and Record Cart is in the Workshop but there will still be zines for sale!
